Your Soren account is owned by Soren Enterprises. We grant you a license to use your account under our Terms of Service.

We support authentication via Discord and Google. Users who log in with Google can use all site features except Discord bot integration, which requires a Discord login.

We support authentication via Discord and Google OAuth. Your login provider (Discord or Google) provides your email address, which we immediately hash using industry-standard cryptographic methods. Your email is NEVER stored in readable format - only the cryptographic hash is retained. This protects your email address even in the unlikely event of a database breach.

When you create an account via Discord or Google OAuth, we collect:

• Your email address from the login provider (immediately hashed using industry-standard cryptographic methods - never stored in readable format)
• Basic profile information from your login provider (username/name, avatar/picture, provider user ID)

All authentication data is immediately secured using industry-standard protection methods. See Data Protection & Security for more information.

• Likes and reactions to content
• Games you mark as favorites

Content you post becomes our property as outlined in our Terms of Service.

All payment processing is handled exclusively through Discord's monetization platform:

• All Discord server tier purchases and donations are processed through Discord
• Discord handles all payment data and provides us only purchase confirmations and entitlements
• We store credits, subscription tier information, and entitlement records - never payment details
• Discord manages all billing, refunds, and transaction history through their platform
• We never store credit card details or payment information

We maintain strict separation between payment data and user accounts for enhanced privacy and security.

When you use our Discord bot for game news notifications, we collect:

• Discord server ID (guild ID) and channel IDs where you want notifications delivered
• Webhook IDs created for each notification channel (for efficient message delivery)
• Your selected games for tracking per Discord server
• Notification customization settings (embed colors, thread preferences, role mentions for Premium tier)
• Discord purchase and entitlement data when you upgrade tiers or donate credits
• Delivery logs (last 6 delivery attempts per game, for troubleshooting notification issues)
• Guild owner Discord user ID (for sending DM notifications about credits and subscription status)

Important: We do NOT collect private messages, conversations from your Discord server, or messages from users in your channels. We only collect data necessary to deliver game news notifications.

We only collect technical data essential for platform operation:

• Authentication cookies and session management

• Comment moderation notifications

We avoid unnecessary analytics tracking and data collection.

We use collected information only for essential services:

• Authenticate your identity and manage your account
• Provide core services (news, comments, Discord notifications)
• Process payments and manage subscriptions via Discord
• Enable community features (comments, likes, favorites)
• Moderate content and prevent spam/abuse

• Deliver game news notifications to your configured Discord channels
• Manage webhooks for efficient message delivery
• Apply your notification customization settings (colors, threads, role mentions)
• Process Discord tier purchases, donations, and credit management
• Send DM notifications to guild owners about credit balance and subscription status

• Comment moderation to maintain community standards
• Rate limiting to prevent spam and abuse
• Fraud detection for payments
• AI content generation from public sources

We only share information with essential service providers:

• Discord: Authentication, bot services, and payment processing
• Google: Authentication for users in regions where Discord is unavailable
• Resend: Essential transactional email delivery
• Cloud infrastructure: Secure hosting and data storage

We may share information only when:

• Required by law or legal process
• To protect our rights, safety and property
• To prevent fraud or abuse
• With your explicit consent
• In connection with a business transfer (with privacy protections)

Some information is publicly visible by your choice:

• Comments you post on our platform
• Your profile picture (from Discord or Google authentication)
• Your display name from your login provider (displayed with your comments)

We implement a variety of technical and procedural safeguards to protect your information:

• Advanced Email Protection: Your email from Discord is never stored in readable format. We immediately hash it using industry-standard cryptographic methods (one-way hash), ensuring your email cannot be exposed even in the unlikely event of a database breach.
• Encrypted Data Transmission: All data between your browser and our servers uses industry-standard encryption protocols.
• Secure Authentication: We use secure, short-lived authentication tokens and protective session management to prevent unauthorized access.
• Access Controls: Strict internal access controls ensure minimal personnel access to user data, and only when absolutely necessary for service operation.
• Regular Security Monitoring: We continuously monitor systems for vulnerabilities and apply security updates promptly.

While we take these measures very seriously, please be aware that no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain information only as long as necessary:

• Account information: Until you delete your account
• Comments and content: Indefinitely (as we own this content per our Terms)
• Payment records: As required by law (typically 7 years)
• Discord bot data: Until you disconnect the bot or delete subscriptions (delivery logs kept for 30 days)
• Session data: Until session expires or logout (expired sessions are purged after 7 days)

When you delete your account, we remove your personal information but retain anonymized data and content we own per our Terms of Service.

We use minimal, essential cookies only:

• Functionality: To remember essential preferences
