Got questions? We've got answers! Here's everything you need to know about Soren.com.

Add the Soren bot to get real-time gaming news in 29 languages. Free tier available!
Why we need it: The bot must be able to see which text channels exist in your server to display them when you're selecting where to receive notifications.
What we do: The bot only views channel names and basic information - it cannot read your private messages or conversations.
Why we need it: This is how the bot delivers game news notifications to your selected channels.
What we do: The bot only sends messages to channels you explicitly configure for notifications. It never sends unsolicited messages to other channels.
Why we need it: Discord embeds allow us to format notifications with images, colors, and structured information (game cover art, headlines, summaries) making them easy to read and visually appealing.
What we do: We create rich, formatted notifications that include game artwork and organized content instead of plain text.
Why we need it: Allows the bot to include rich media attachments like game trailers, screenshots, and promotional images directly in notifications.
What we do: The bot may attach media files to enhance notifications with visual content. All attachments are related to game news being delivered.
Why we need it: This allows the bot to verify successful message delivery and prevent duplicate notifications.
What we do: The bot only checks its own messages to track delivery status. It does not read, store, or analyze user conversations.
Why we need it: Webhooks are Discord's recommended method for automated posting. They're more efficient and reliable than regular bot messages for high-frequency notifications.
What we do: The bot creates one webhook per channel (named "Soren") to deliver notifications. When you remove a game subscription, we clean up webhooks automatically.
Why we need it: Premium subscribers can organize notifications into threads, keeping channels clean and organized (e.g., one "Valorant News & Updates" thread instead of scattered posts).
What we do: When you enable thread mode, the bot creates a single thread per game and posts all updates there. This is completely optional - free users get direct channel posts.
Why we need it: Required to post notifications inside threads when thread mode is enabled.
What we do: Post game notifications to the threads you've configured, following the same rules as regular channel messages.
Why we need it: Premium users can configure role mentions (like @Valorant-Fans) to notify specific groups when important game news is published.
What we do: Only mention roles you explicitly configure in your notification settings. The bot never sends @everyone or @here pings (we've disabled these options for user protection). Maximum 10 role mentions per channel.
We do not store message contents, user conversations, or any personal information beyond what's needed for service delivery. See our Privacy Policy for complete details..
