The broken realms of Cloudheim are about to become much more connected with the WorldShare Update launching on April 22. This major milestone introduces dedicated server sharing functionality, finally allowing players to host persistent worlds for their fellow gods-to-be without needing to remain online themselves.
While we wait for the server infrastructure to land, the "Fishing for Tomes" mini-event is active right now. If you've been neglecting your rod and reel, now is the time to head to the water. The event features increased critical success rates and introduces two new Magic Tome weapons: the Waterlogged Tome and the Illegible Tome. This adds a much-needed layer of variety to the current combat meta, giving players more ways to harness the chaotic energy of the post-Ragnarok world.
The update isn't just about servers and fishing, though. Noodle Cat Games is introducing several core gameplay overhauls that address long-standing community requests:
- Expeditions: New repeatable bounties that provide a consistent gameplay loop for resource gathering.
- Accessory Leveling: You can now use duplicate accessories to power up your favorites, reducing the frustration of RNG loot drops.
- Shieldbearer Rework: Combat balance is being tweaked to make the Shieldbearer role feel more impactful in chaotic physics-based encounters.
- Mastery Archiving: A new quality-of-life feature allows you to archive mastered equipment, keeping your inventory clean as you progress.
For our international players, Polish localization has also been officially added. This update represents a significant shift from simple hotfixes to foundational systems that will define how we play Cloudheim long-term. Be sure to wrap up your Equinox Event activities soon, as that window is closing just as the new era of world-sharing begins.
